FenceTech 2023

FenceTech 2023 in Oklahoma City was an amazing event, and several of our team members were able to go and spend time not only meeting with several of our nationwide peers, but also a plethora of companies offering glimpses at the latest and greatest of fencing industry materials and tools. Our team spent time on the show floor getting to learn about a range of products that we hope to be able to offer to our customers in the Memphis area in the future, to better be able to not only protect what matters most, but also to protect it for longer.

New Product Highlights

There were a lot of products that stood out to our team members, one of them being vertical lift gates. These gates would provide a gate operator option for locations with tight areas that don’t allow for swing or sliding gate options, allowing for ease of access and greater security. Another gate product that intrigued us was the adjustable steel frame gate, which would be able to fit any size opening without leaving gaps, making gate repairs a breeze.

Our team also enjoyed getting to see the many different options for PVC fencing, which has been around for a long time but is still innovating. There are so many more styles and color options than ever before, giving our customers greater choices and control over the look of their fence. They also pointed out composite wood growing as a product – it too has existed for some time, but it’s been becoming more and more popular in recent years for its close appearance to wood but its long-lasting properties, especially in decking. Speaking of decks, we were also excited by the steel deck framing that was on display, given that it would mean an end to our customers having to replace rotted and weathered deck framing, leaving only the surface boards to worry about for easier repairs and maintenance.

New Fencing Tools

For our internal improvement, we also looked at several tools that would make installation and operations easier for our staff and crews. From saw blades to post pullers, there were so many incredible tools of the trade that stood out to us as options to take our fence installation to the next level. We also looked at some of the software options for estimating and invoicing, different CRMs that would help us stay on top of providing quotes as soon as possible for our customers while also staying on top of billing and communication.

Overall, our team enjoyed themselves immensely during this event, not only for the opportunity to catch up on the fencing industry, but also spending time in beautiful Oklahoma City. We are so excited to bring what we learned to our community and customers here in the Memphis area, and we’re looking forward to another amazing event next year at FenceTech 2024 in Nashville!
