  • security fencing for prisons and airports

As a Welder/Fabricator you will be instrumental in the structural creation of our fencing and gate products. This role demands precision, a strong work ethic, and a comprehensive understanding of welding and fabrication techniques. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking for a talented Welder/Fabricator to enhance the capabilities of our production team.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Measure and cut pipe or tubing accurately for a variety of projects.
  • Cope pipes or tubing and assemble pieces to construct final gates and fences.
  • Prime and paint welds, ensuring durability and aesthetic quality.
  • Insert chain link or other materials into gates as needed.
  • Utilize jigs and other tools effectively in the fabrication process.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workstation, adhering to all safety and health guidelines.
  • Assist with general shop duties, including moving and organizing materials.
  • Work independently and efficiently to meet production goals.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations necessary for fabrication.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledgeable in the use and maintenance of jigs and other fabrication tools.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Yardman

We are looking for a Yardman to manage our fence yard. We are looking for a minimum of 2 years’ verifiable experience in inventory management with fence installation experience being a plus! You’ll usually work as part of a team under the supervision of the Yard Foreman.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • unload vendor trucks
  • receive loads by counting materials on load vs vendor receiver
  • rotate and face stored materials
  • assist with inventory spot counts
  • assist in inventory control systems
  • pull and stage loads for crews for the next day
  • assist in putting materials returned by crews back in “home”
  • yard housekeeping and clean at all times
  • pick up materials from vendors as needed
  • assist in management yard waste pick up
  • work safely and smartly

   Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2 years verifiable inventory management experience
  • fence industry experience a plus
